Multi-Collateral Dai: Collateral Types

The MCD collateral types that MKR voters can select to evaluate first are out of the bag! After you celebrate that announcement, remember to also review the list of critical milestones that must be achieved before MCD goes live. Finally, if you hold MKR tokens, know that during the week of July 29, the Maker Foundation will ask you to participate in a poll to prioritize the order in which the first assets could be entered into the governance system as proposals for review and possible ratification by MKR token holders. We need you to be engaged now more than ever!

Dai In Numbers: Momentum Report

Dai continues to propagate through the Ethereum ecosystem at a rapid pace. Since our first Dai in Numbers report back in February, the Dai economy has grown in activity and diversity. As Ethereum developers add new Dai integrations regularly, and more users onboard to blockchain technology, major Dai use cases gain visibility.  

Understanding the Dai User: Insights into Adoption 

We recently decided to gain more insight into Dai users. Not only that, we’ve also published our findings. By learning why people use Dai, including their motivations and goals, we and UX teams at organizations choosing to integrate Dai can respond to any hurdles by crafting user experiences that solve problems, produce desired results, and inspire trust. 

Coinsource Is Updating its ATMs to Support Dai

People will soon be able to use Coinsource ATMs and Dai to send cash from wallet to wallet.  

Governance Updates

A series of Governance Polls and Executive Votes this month resulted in an overall stability fee decrease to 16.5%, down 1% from 17.5% at the end of May. The fee changes were driven by numerous factors.
